If you have never come across Chinese cuisine, you should order a table and try the menu at this restaurant. You can share nicely cooked chinese chicken, chinese soup and chinese pork with your friends and spend a nice time here. Come to Nanking Chinese Restaurant to try good ice cream. Tasting the delicious lemonade is a decent choice.

"An overhyped restaurant serving Indo-Chinese cuisine (not authentic Chinese). Service is fine, staff members are friendly and helpful. The menu is limited in my opinion, nothing new or exciting to try here. Portion sizes are pretty good. Prices are reasonable. The ambience is simple and minimalistic, nothing special." Food: We ordered Chicken Drumsticks and Pork Fried Rice. Chicken Drumsticks: Nice and tender. A bit plain though. The accompanying sauce did help though. Pork Fried Rice: Quite nice, flavorful, and has that umami kick to it. Atmosphere: Very minimalistic and simple. Nothing extraordinary. Service: Staff members are helpful, polite, and friendly. Overall, I feel this restaurant is overhyped. It might be decades old and might have been set up by Chinese-origin people, but today it has lost most of its charm. Today, it serves Indo-Chinese cuisine (not authentic Chinese) and even in this, the options seem limited. For instance, no presence of dim sums at all in their menu. Their legacy has perhaps come to an end in my opinion. Food quality seems to have gone down in the last few years. Growing up it was our favorite place to eat indo chinese food. The corn soup we ordered had uncooked veggies. The mushroom appetizer tastes ok but was really greasy. Somehow the veggie noodles also did not taste as good. Nanking Chinese Restaurant is conveniently located near Paradise Metro Station, making it easily accessible. I visited for dinner and tried a variety of dishes, including drumstick chicken, soft noodles, Schezwan fried rice, special Cantonese soup, and vegetable spring rolls. The taste of all the items was good, and the quantity was quite sufficient, providing good value for the price.
