Ambience & Facilities: • There’s plenty of seating, including non-AC, AC dining, majlis seating, and a party hall. Importantly, menu prices remain the same across all seating options, including AC areas. • An aquarium placed in front of the shop adds a nice touch, and the interior looks neat and standard. • Good parking space is available in front of the building, although it might fall short during peak hours when the shop is full. • A nice extra is the free lemon tea offered to guests. Service: The service is excellent and deserves special mention for being prompt and attentive. Food & Taste: • Recently tried the Shawai Mandhi, which turned out to be a good choice. The well-cooked masala shawai combined nicely with the mandhi rice, and it was served with good quality mayonnaise and other common sides. • However, it’s worth noting that the mandhi rice didn’t taste as good as it used to, which was slightly disappointing compared to past visits. Final Thoughts: Nahdi Kuzhimandhi remains a default choice in Engappuzha if you’re looking for mandhi, whether it’s alfahm mandhi, regular chicken kuzhimandhi, shawai, beef, or mutton .
