Recently visited Nagvekar Fish Land, conveniently located near the highway. Food was AWESOME - the fish platter we had was really good! But, the toilet situation was pretty bad - it was dirty, and that brought down the whole experience. Overall, good food, but needs to work on the hygiene front. If you're craving seafood, it's worth a shot! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Worst experience, Thr is no taste in food and charges very high, for single Dhodi fry he charges 450 Rs with an ordinary taste, I visit every Sunday different places for lunch, from Mangalore to Karwar almost all restaurants I tasted non veg food, but this worst experience I ever had..

This little cute restaurant on the highway run by the Nagvekar family is real gem of a find. They serve some really delicious local cuisine and we were extremely happy to find this by chance on our way to Murdeshwar on 31st night. We were in fact suggested to have food at the more famous Green Park River view restaurant by the locals which was okayish to our taste. But we loved the food served here and in fact we went back again the next day to have a dinner there with more friends. Their fish fries are a must taste and so is their chicken. Ask them what they would suggest according to your taste preferences and they will let you know what you may like, and trust me, we loved their suggestion. I would any day recommend such fresh finds to try Nagvekar's Restaurant is definitely on top of my suggestions when it comes to good quality, tasty food in Honnavar.
