I have ordered pork with sun dried bamboo shoot and pork curry with fresh bamboo shoot through swiggy….I was very excited since everyone’s praise their food on some reviews and was expected to be really good since the price was extremely high…..But I was shocked to see there wasn’t bamboo shoot at all in the two orders..just pork filled with oil….The meat isn’t fresh at all…no flavour, no taste, and it has a little bit of stinky smell….I really wish I could get my money back. Since the age of 18, I’ve been blessed with roommates from various Northeastern states of India. They loved me, fed me, and as a true foodie, I never missed a chance to enjoy their delicious home-style meals. Today, I was craving dried fish, chilli chutney, and rice with boiled vegetables—and that’s when I found Naga Belly. Without a second thought, I rushed to the restaurant and ordered the Chicken Naga-style thali, which came with chicken gravy, purple rice, chilli chutney, dal, and boiled vegetables. I even asked for extra dry chilli chutney. With just one bite, I felt at home—home where my roommates and I once shared meals. The food was incredible: tender chicken, chutneys bursting with umami, and comforting flavours. The staff’s warmth reminded me of my roommates who always shared their food with a smile. I highly recommend Naga Belly to anyone looking for authentic Naga cuisine.
