The restaurant's ambiance is akin to a typical Kerala roadside eatery, featuring simple wooden furniture and a lively atmosphere. A highlight of Nadan Thattukada is its traditional Kerala meals. Served without a banana leaf, these meals include a variety of dishes such as rice, sambar, thoran, and fish curry, all prepared in the authentic Kerala style. The flavors are rich and aromatic, showcasing the true essence of Kerala cuisine. They offer varietyof non vegetarian options and also offers a variety of vegetarian options, including dishes like kappa and meen curry, chicken and beef items. The service at Nadan Thattukada is attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The staff is well-versed with the menu and is always ready to assist with recommendations based on your preferences. During my last visit, I found that the beef fry was not up to the mark considering the price and taste. This was a bit disappointing, as I have had better experiences with their food in the past. However, I believe that every restaurant can have an off day, and I would be willing to give them another chance in the future. Overall, Nadan Thattukada still remains a great place to experience authentic Kerala cuisine, and I would recommend trying out their other items especially Ghee roast. In conclusion, Nadan Thattukada in Muvattupuzha is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Kerala cuisine.
