Nadan Mess in Melmuri, Malappuram, is a local food joint, located near Alathurpadi beside the MMET HSS road. I had their Porotta and Beef Fry. The Porotta was fluffy, and the Beef Fry was equally good. It's a good option for an early bite, as the mess opens early in the morning. For those looking to explore more, they are also famous for their Kuttan Mandi and Biriyani. Parking is very limited right on the road, so plan accordingly.
