Nada Brahma is a small yoga bar at the end of the beach run by an English lad called Pete and his close friends Matt and Roma. We pretty much spent every day with these guys as it turned out that they were from Leeds just like ourselves, so we instantly hit it off!
The food, drinks, music and banter (and Wifi) was top notch. Its not often you come across eggs Benedict in India and it was delicious (try the spinach and feta parcel too!) Chilled out house music, daytime beach vibes made for perfect sunbed time. In the evening there were fresh strawberry daiquiris, mojitos and pretty much any drink you could think of.
The bar attracted lots of friendly people, we found ourselves making lots of new friends - English, american and french travelers as well as locals.
The guys went above and beyond to look after us; at the time we visited, there was a currency crisis. All 1000 and 500 rupee notes had been withdrawn from circulation and it was almost impossible to exchange or withdraw money. Pete and his compadres jumped on their bikes and went miles out of their way to exchange money for us. They also let us pay by pay pal and bank transfer for our food and drink so we got the best rates and didnt have to waste our holiday time dealing with currency exchanges.
If you're staying nearby its 100% worth a visit and as far as i'm aware they will have beach huts available at some point in 2017. I highly recommend Nada Brahma. Amazing place, amazing people. It made our holiday that bit extra special.
