Having seen Coming King Church, it's time to have a rest at Nachiyar Authentic Chettinad Restaurant. Chinese and Sichuan cuisines are recommended to degust at this place. Tasty spicy chicken and good biryani are among the dishes to be tried at this spot.

There was tomato sauce added in mutton gravy, no flavour of chettinad. Mutton was smelling bad and was not cooked well. Ordered through Swiggy

Ordered Falooda thru Foodpanda, very disappointed. Bad taste, much less quantity comparing with pic shown in the site. Restaurant person said the food quantity will not be same as the site pic. Will never go for this restaurant again.

'Authentic Chettinad Restaurant' tag made me choose this place out of the options suggested by Zomato for weekday dinner. This place is close to the Nungambakkam railway station and is definitely hard to miss when you pass by this place.

Nachiyar Authentic Chettinad Restaurant is quite spacious. Ambience is pretty normal and nothing much to rave about. It was at around 8pm that we entered this place.

I was in mood for some Chettinad biryani and went ahead ordering one. It was only after tasting the Chicken biryani that I had to regret of my choice. Biryani was devoid of any flavours that we usually expect from any Chettinad food. Chicken piece was not soft and of the kind that we expect. Raita had only onion pieces with very less curd to onion proportion!

Service was lethargic. Pricing is Okay.

Overall, it is an average place for a visit if you stay nearby. Otherwise, I wouldn't definitely recommend trying this place out.
