Entered this restaurant at around 7Pm and was among the only few customers. Ordered a chicken biryani (giving it a preference over parota and chettinad chicken). The biriyani turned out to be disastrous and among the worst I have had in recent times. To emphasise how bad it was: after a long time I left a few chicken pieces and a portion of the biryani unfinished.
The meat was stiff as a brick and it seemed like they were leftovers from afternoon that was heated and served. The raita was made of finely chopped onion and negligible curd while the curry (something I love about chettinad cuisine) was not spicy and bland in taste.
Pricing - INR. 140
Service - nothing mention-worthy. The staff continued to fiddle around with the card (even after a failed transaction) and wonder what made them do so. Ended up paying cash before I could hurry my way out.
Definitely not going back or recommending this place.
