Nabanna was a great place to grab a quick Bengali bite. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was also great. With that said, the illish was not up to expectations. I ordered the boneless Illish and still found a few large bones in it. My wife said her illish didn't taste authentic. Other than that everything else in our thalis as well as our fish fingers starter were very good. Our waiter Gautam paid close attention to us and was very helpful throughout our meal. It's a new restaurant which has hardly crossed one year.The staff is very polite and the hospitality is good.The atmosphere is authentic and there is a traditional vibe in the restaurant. Now come to the food part in which we ordered fish fingers which were served with kasundi.Next we ordered basonti pulao which was the best in the entire food we ordered.The rice we ordered was sufficient for two. The mutton kosha was so so but the duck bungalow was not good at all.The chicken was chewy and it spoiled the dish.The stairs of the restaurant are very steep and seniors people cannot enter as there is no lift ,the restaurant is on the 2nd floor.Its a good restaurant but it needs a little work to do so that they can bring the good food vibe.In short we seek tasty fresh food which should be the topmost priority.
