NIMHANS emergency is always busy but lacks sufficient staff and equipment to handle critically ill patients. The shortage of nursing staff affects the quality of service, leading to long waiting times and unattended patients, sometimes resulting in deaths inside ambulances. Senior staff are not adequately trained to manage crowds and are not adapted to digital systems. There is no proper patient care system in place.
