You must try their Benne Masala Dosa and Idli with Ghee Podi — absolutely delicious! On my quest to find authentic South Indian cuisine in Kolkata, I recently stopped by Mysore Canteen, Sector V, and the experience was nothing short of fabulous! I tried their Ghee Masala Dosa, Cheese Masala Dosa, Tomato Onion Uthappam, Kesari Bath, Bun Palkova, and Ghee Idli — and was absolutely delighted. The flavors instantly reminded me of the dishes I had during my Bangalore visit, bringing back a wave of nostalgia with every bite. The clear standout for me was the Bun Palkova — heavenly in taste, unlike anything I’ve had in South Indian food before. Honestly, it deserves a 10/10 all by itself! If you’re looking for authentic South Indian food in Kolkata, this is the place to stop by. I’d give it a solid 10/10 for both taste and overall experience.
