Chinese and Indian cuisines are must-order ones at this restaurant. The recipe for success of Mynt is its tasty filet américain. The courteous staff welcomes visitors all year round. Service at this place is something one can name fine. You will definitely like the calm atmosphere. But this spot hasn't earned a high rating from Google users.

We have been to Gateway all day multiple times in the past but this visit was after a gap of almost 4 years and after their rebranding as Taj Vivanta. Now the restaurant is rebranded as Mynt, the decor is only slightly changed the food on offer is also fairly familiar. They had a section dedicated to Gujarati cuisine and a live chat counter as well. The food is curated to suite to western palate so some might find it less authentic. The highlight of the dinner though was the service part where a young attendant named Rehman did a stellar job. Very attentive, polite and the most disarming smile on his face. The only thing that is an issue is the pricing which 1499+taxes which is really steep prize for value on offer in a city like Vadodara where there are comparable and better places at much lower prices. Food is somewhat Ok here at Taj Mynt restaurant. Not at par with the price. The staff is courteous but service is very slow. Even on a weekday when there were only 4-5 tables with customers, the hotel staff was struggling on service. One has to catch hold of waiters for any requests. Lastly waiting for the bill was a headache. My wife had to go to the counter to catch hold of some manager for billing. Not a value for money kind of buffet.
