A Vegetarian's Delight at Mutton Ani Barch Khi, Viman Nagar, Pune! As a vegetarian, I recently visited "Mutton Ani Barch Khi" in Viman Nagar, Pune, and it was a surprisingly excellent choice! While the name might suggest a focus on non-vegetarian fare, this restaurant truly impressed with its authentic Marathi vegetarian dishes. The ambiance was family-friendly, and the staff were incredibly obedient and attentive, making for a very pleasant dining experience. We started with their unique welcome drink, which was a refreshing and distinctive touch. For our meal, we indulged in a variety of traditional Marathi specialties. The Masvadi Thali was fantastic, offering a comprehensive and delicious experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed the crispy Kothimbir Vadi, the soft and flavorful Paneer Ball, and the comforting Shengdana Pithla served with jowar bhakari and fragrant Indrayani Rice. What truly made every dish stand out was the incredibly authentic taste, which I believe comes from their secret "gharguti" (homemade) masala. Each item was top-notch, showcasing genuine Marathi flavors. The entire meal offered great value for money. Visited Mutton Ani Barach Kahi in Viman Nagar and it was a total treat for non-veg lovers! We tried their Special Mutton Thali – packed with soft, well-cooked mutton and spicy curry that was full of flavour. The Chicken Thali was also delicious, with tender chicken and all the right masalas. The Chicken Aluwadi was the real hit – crispy on the outside with a tasty chicken filling inside. Cheese Paneer Balls were creamy, cheesy, and perfect for a veg bite. The star dish for us was the Chicken Ghee Roast it was rich, spicy and super aromatic. We also had the Wajdi Fry, which was spicy and had a nice smoky touch. The place serves big portions, has good service and the flavours really hit home. Perfect for anyone who enjoys bold Maharashtrian-style dishes! I recently visited 'Matan ani Barach Kahi' restaurent Viman Nagar and had a great experience! The chicken and mutton dishes were absolutely delicious — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The taste was truly awesome, and the spices were well-balanced. If you're a non-veg food lover, this place is definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!
