Museum of Goa (MOG) is an absolute must-visit if you want to experience a different, more contemporary side of Goa. I loved how thoughtfully the space is designed — it’s vibrant, creative, and full of stories that really make you pause and reflect. The exhibits beautifully showcase modern Indian art with strong Goan roots, and every section feels purposeful rather than overwhelming. What stood out to me most was how interactive and engaging the museum is - it doesn’t feel like a place where you just walk around silently, but somewhere that invites curiosity and conversation. The overall ambience, the open layout, and the attention to detail make it a refreshing break from the usual tourist spots. Definitely worth spending a few hours here if you appreciate art, culture, and unique experiences. Highly recommended!

Such a therapeutic place to be at. From the entrance itself, the shop gives all the art enthusiasts a sense of amazement and excitement. The documentary area is so cool and cozy. All the art displays are mesmerizing, the cafe is nice for grabbing a drink and food. Overall a very interesting place!

Do think twice if you are going to visit this with your family or more members, each person charges are 300 so a family of 4 pays 1200 for entry tickets which is not worth to see cardboard drawings and very little history. I myself saw 4+ stars on the reviews and went and become truly disappointed. Better than this we absorbed history from fort Reis Magos which is hardly 5 kms from this museum and cost you 50 per person with much better sea views, entire portugal to India history is present in reis magos fort. Then in the Old goa churches also you have museum which is almost free and worth visiting as the art pieces are from 12-13th, 15-17th century some from 7th century also. Much worth than paying to see drawings created in 2000s and paying worth a family meal price over there only otherwise if you are genuinely interested in paintings or willing to buy some for your house etc.
