Murugan idli shop had my heart for the longest time after tasting their food in Madurai multiple times on our visits but this branch totally disappointed us with their food and service. We had meals and their main dish kaaram idli but the taste and services is very sub standard and doesn’t compare at all with their Madurai outlets. One can only comfortable at this place because of the huge size of the total complex and the sheer avail of clean washrooms here on the highway leading to Chennai. This serves as a good pitstop for the highway dwellers and travellers and with enhanced service and food with availability can take this place to next level and make it one of a kind highway restaurant in India. As of now, it is better to opt for other local joints for a fulfilling meal on the highway, hope they amp up their service and make the place more palatable.
