Sri Murugan Mess in Rameswaram is an amazing place to savour authentic South Indian cuisine. The menu has a wide variety of dishes like idli, dosa, pongal, parotta, podi dhosai, poori, vadai and more. The food is cooked with the freshest ingredients and the taste is simply out of this world. Prices are very reasonable and the service is good. The restaurant closes by 9.15 pm and opens at 8 am. It is a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a taste of South Indian food in Rameswaram.

Sri Murugan Mess has limited menu, and when we visited around 8:30 pm, some items were already unavailable. Options reduce further late in the evening, so early visits work better. Service is fast. Orders are taken quickly, and food arrives without delay. Pricing stays reasonable and suits regular, no-frills meals. The badam milk and rose milk did not match the hype. Both tasted mostly of sugar, with very mild flavor, which was disappointing. Overall, it is a decent place for quick food at fair prices, especially if you go earlier and keep expectations simple.
