The food was decent but the lack of good service and atmosphere ruined everything. We came as a group of 5 people, so we were seated by the tables that had 6 seats. This, is by the washbasin and the toilet. The toilet was dirty and they didn't bother closing the door. There was a constant unpleasant smell and flies were swarming us. There is a fly trap, but that was on the opposite side near the cash counter. There is no dedicated parking for Murugan Idli customers. You have to share it at the hotel. You may miss the restaurant if you don't look inside the hotel for the entrance. Overall, I don't recommend this place unless you're looking for a place to have a quick bite. I can't say the place is very hygienic and it's the most unkept Murugan Idli shop I've been to (I've been to plenty, all around Chennai and Kanchipuram).
