The Indian cuisine is nice at this restaurant. Good tea will make your meal even more delicious and you'll surely come back. The staff is said to be cool here. Prompt service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Murugan Hotel. As a number of guests remark, the atmosphere is nice. But most people who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

Given the remote location, i am giving 5 stars- They provide home cooked veg lunch with 2 veggies, sambar , rasam , rice. Tasty and clean. Food cooked on order only. Served on banana leaves on stainless steel dining tables. We sat outdoor, overlooking the waterfront, and enjoyed the meal. Veg meal Rs 80 per head. Food takes about 90 min to 2 hours to prepare. So , order when going uphill towards Maharaja Mettu and have food while returning. NV needs special order for which we should buy chicken/ mutton before hand, bring and give them.
