Nothing to say...always heard about this place and wanted to go. It happened...ordered for beef fry , prawn fry , fish head curry , karimeen fry , kappa and appam. A full fish head marinated into a fish curry, weighing approx 2kg was placed in front...intimidating and overwhelming moment. Then beef fry came...wow wow..the softest meat ever tasted , the coconut oil flavour was very dominant adding to the taste. Prawn fry was good and fresh. Karimeen fry went too fried but retained the lovely taste...kappa and appam as accompaniments were good...am full till the brink..have no space for even water... Service is super fast as all dishes are fastmoving and is made continuously. Only ambience is a challenge..not very friendly atmosphere , people having toddy etc..not a very good sight..but ppl come here to have fish and toddy , only we thought otherwise...another visit soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Food is good quality and tasty. The curries are little bit spicy but it’s totally acceptable for shap curries. The appam and kappa (tapioca) is very tasty and yummy. The staffs are very friendly. There is private cabin for families and small groups. Reaching the location is little bit difficult but it’s worth for trying their food. Overall good service, food and tasty. Parking in front of the restaurant / shop is very limited to 2-3. But there is an alternate parking just 50 m away. I visited Mullapanthal Toddy Shop with my friends, and it was a disappointing experience. The atmosphere was unpleasant and not welcoming at all. While the service was just okay, the food was a complete disaster—far below expectations in both taste and quality. Definitely not worth the hype.
