I had the chicken tandoori biryani and chicken biryani. Both of them were really good. The rice was very flavourful and I liked the marination and the masala on the pieces as well. I ordered 2 half galawati kebabs(mutton) along with mughlai paratha....and what I found out was that the kebabs didn't constitute any mutton and I couldn't find any authenticity in the name kebabs....it was loaded with smoked kebab base (made out of God knows what but mutton), spices which just overpowered the flavour and at the end of your meal I couldn't even describe or figure what I just had in the name of kebabs.... I believe Mughlai Dastarkhwan is Gorakhpur's best spicy non-veg restaurant which will give you somewhat Old Lucknow and Old Delhi Food vibes. The food quality is great and very tasty. But it is preferable for customers having spicy and chili taste preferences. I had butter chicken, butter naan as well as roasted chicken and it was very spicy and delicious. This place is quite cool for having some good non-veg refreshments. The service is also good. But this place is located quite far away from the central region of Gorakhpur which makes it difficult for some customers to know that this restaurant exists for which I believe more marketing and promotion of this place is required.
