At this restaurant, you will be served Mughlai cuisine. Ordering perfectly cooked tandoori chicken, chicken rolls and biryani is what most clients advise. The gracious staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. According to the visitors' opinions, prices are fair. The peaceful atmosphere is what Mughlai Kolkata is about. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.
The place is SO haphazardly arranged. You need to check the menu and make the payment somewhere, then they give you a piece of paper and you need the place the order somewhere else. If they don't tell you, you won't even think that the payment counter belongs to Mughlai Kolkata by any means. And it's self service here. Now, self service is okay if you order fast food or any other light dishes but it can be problematic if you order a full meal. Also, the place is shabby. On a hot day, it is a torture inside as they donot have properly working fans. Also, the chairs were not arranged properly and you have to do that yourself. It's disappointing.
SERVICE - 1/5
They were slow as hell for just two rolls and there was only another customer.
FOOD - 3.5/5
After a lot of disappointment, the food calmed me down a bit. The taste is not extraordinary, but quite decent. The quantity was VERY IMPRESSIVE. So, overall the food was okay. I have not tasted any other item there. I intend to, though but definitely not by dining in.
HYGIENE - 3/5
The food and the utensils did not look dirty. Also, I did not fall sick. So, they can be called quite hygienic.
VALUE FOR MONEY - 5/5
The food was perfectly priced. Huge egg chicken rolls cost only ₹100. You won't mind paying for the food.
This place is good for take away.
