I visited Mudka Resto Cafe in kozhikode on 24th August 2025, and honestly, it was an amazing experience! The ambience was just awesome – it had a Mumbai street-style, North Indian vibe that felt so unique and refreshing. The interiors are super aesthetic, perfect if you love taking photos. The food was equally great – tasty, well-prepared, damn hot and at a very reasonable price (middle range ). For two people, our bill was ₹438 (for 5 items), which is a total steal considering the quality and experience. The staff and the owner were also very friendly and welcoming (staffs are most North Indians ), which made the experience even better. If you’re around kozhikode and want good food, good vibes, and a place to click some cool photos, this is highly recommended! My experience at Mudka Resto Cafe was disappointing. The food is decent, but that’s the minimum one would expect given the high prices they charge for even basic dishes. What really ruined the experience was the terrible service. I placed my order through the QR code at my table, waited for 20 minutes, and still didn’t get my food. When I went to the cashier to ask, they handed me the bill for items I hadn’t even received yet. What’s the point of having QR scanners if the system doesn’t work? The staff seemed completely unbothered, we had to call them multiple times just to get attention. Even after reminding them about a simple order of pani puri, they forgot it and casually admitted so after another 15 minutes of waiting. For a place that charges premium prices, the service is shockingly careless. If you want people to return, fix the service and respect your customers’ time. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
