Mud Coffee used to be one of the best hangout spots in Siddhartha Layout. I’ve been visiting since the year it opened, and in the beginning, both the service and quality were really good. My tuition friends and I would go there almost every alternate evening for coffee or snacks, and even though it’s a small café, that never felt like an issue. But over time, things have gone downhill. On my recent visit (31st August) with friends, we ordered 3–4 items and in almost an hour only two were served. The nachos had frozen corn, and even after asking for a replacement, the quality was still bad. From what I hear, the owner doesn’t come around much anymore and the place is mostly staff-managed, which clearly shows in the poor service and quality. Honestly, the café feels saturated now. If you want consistent taste and service, places like Sutra Bistro are a better choice. Really disappointed with this visit.
