Absolutely absolutely horrible experience. Mr. Beans used to be me and my family's go to place. However it has completely gone to dogs. 1. Rubbish service - the staff is lost, they barely care if there is a customer sitting. Took a lot of time for us to spot someone to come take an order. We had to ask 3 times for water - and even then it came much after the food was served; the garlic bread came after everything else on the table was finished. Even the bill was taking time to come - and when we asked for it again, the waiter instead of bringing us the bill said that we could go to the counter and pay. 2. Bad food quality - the hot chocolate which was their speciality now tastes like overpriced bournvita. The garlic bread was drenched in butter to the point that it felt we were having liquid bread. The pasta and teas were okay The ambience remains great - hope they buck up soon before losing business to other better places that have opened up nearby.
