Just a delicious food in the right place so my tummy feels gur gur everytime I see this place so I go and fill my stomach and got me feeling like woaahhh especially the nice sevice especially the owner he's a cool guy and very Franky and young......in love with the place n food

Pork Chow - Rs.100/- Chicken Schezwan Chow - Rs.110/- Mosaic Food Corner, Nongrim Hills, Shillong Indo-chinese Fast Food $$ 20.02.24 Today I'm in the mood for Pork Chow. I called up @iceshira but he was already having lunch with his family at @hotel.aahar . I left the office for lunch & as I was coming out I met two colleagues @nimrica_12231 & @__tengsime__ while they were on their way to have lunch. I asked them if they would like to join me. They agreed. So we made our way up to Mosaic Food Corner in Nongrim Hills which is close to JJ's Cable Network. Mind you this place has 13 5 star ratings on Google Maps. It had a pyrda saw (red curtains) at the entrance. We stepped in & it's a small little place with a few tables & benches. It had bamboo mats on the walls which gave it that local indigenous feel to it. I had a look at the menu & well I was fixed on the Pork Chow. The two ordered a plate each of Chicken Schezwan Chow. The food arrived within 10 mins. The pork chow had some grated cabbage on top while the Schezwan Chow was as red as a Ferrari. Portions were good. The strands of noodles were very thin & still a little too moist. I took one bite of the pork chow & it was a little on the blander side. Either it was boiled & not dried properly or it wasn't fried long enough or both. The pork pieces & the sprinkle of black pepper somewhat saved the flavors. But even then it wasn't very satisfying. The strands of cabbage gave it some bite & texture. It wasn't bad, it was average. I tasted the Schezwan Chow also & even there the Schezwan sauce was overshadowed by the moisture laden noodles. Overall it was an okay meal. Perhaps it was just one of those days. Perhaps not. Will have to try again some other day to find out.
