Monu Kulcha Hut, Amritsar – The Real Kulcha King! Being an Amritsari, I’ve tried almost every famous Kulcha place in the city — from the old legends to the new café-style joints. But somehow, Monu Kulcha Hut was still pending on my list. I had heard a lot about their kulchas, and today I finally went there for breakfast. The shop is tucked inside a small street off the main road — a simple, no-fancy place with steel benches and a modest setup. Don’t expect café vibes or AC comfort — it’s your typical Amritsari street shop. But trust me, the real magic is on the plate. Their kulchas are just out of this world — so crispy, so fresh, and absolutely loaded with flavor. The first bite literally made me go “OMG!” I thought I’d just try one, but I couldn’t stop myself from ordering a second one. That says it all! The service is quick, no unnecessary waiting — they know what they’re doing and do it perfectly. Honestly, places like Kulcha Kulture or Kulcha Lal Paratha Das in Delhi NCR should take notes. Their owners need to visit Monu Kulcha Hut and taste what a real Amritsari Kulcha is. What they’re serving in Delhi isn’t even 20% of this taste. From my side, it’s a solid 10-star rating . If you’re coming to Amritsar, make sure Monu Kulcha Hut is on your list. You’ll thank yourself later.
