Monginis is an Indian pastry and bakery chain based in Mumbai with outlets in different cities in India. They have 80+ outlets in Pune. This branch of Monginis is located in Shiwar Chowk, Pimple Saudagar. They are selling 100% veg cakes.
Though all the Monginis outlets share the same menu, most of them have different varieties of cakes, pastries and savouries. Apart from these, snack foods and breads are also sold at Monginis shops. They have a product line for diabetics and offers themed products during festivals.
I had mixed experience with this outlet in terms of service and quality. Sometimes great in taste and sometimes worst. If you want to stay in the race then please enhance your quality.
I have tried Hinjewadi outlet as well and they are very responsive and have good staff.
Once I ordered their edition red velvet cake.. and it was not at all fresh and the taste was not like red velvet.. It was something different and disappointing..
Dutch truffle and zebra pastries are good.
