We had a lovely lunch at Monarch Lounge & Restaurant in Ashwem — the location is great, just a short distance from the beach, and the restaurant has a relaxed, stylish vibe that’s perfect for a mid-day meal in Goa. The food was delicious and well-flavored, with a good mix of Indian and other dishes that made for a satisfying lunch. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience felt calm yet classy — ideal for a relaxed meal after some beach time. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend Monarch for anyone looking for a tasty lunch in a pleasant setting near Ashwem Beach. Would definitely visit again next time we’re in the area! Monarch is an excellent restaurant set inside the Regalia Resort. We were not staying at the resort but went for the breakfast buffet every day of our stay. The buffet is a medley of Indian and continental options. The chef and team have put a lot of thought behind the menu and provide nutritious options. It was well worth the price and delicious. We also went for lunch one day and the ambience was beautiful. The restaurant is set amongst the wilderness and the staff are extremely hospitable. We had the fried okra, fried prawns and Konkani fish curry with rice which were all delicious. We also tried some Portuguese desserts which were light on the palate and not too sweet. Overall, would highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
