I saw the 1950s Burger Town board when i was talking on the Mugappair High Road. Some how my instincts told me to try this place. I must say that I was glad that I took a shot at trying the Burgers in 1950s Burger Town. If one is not alert one may miss this place completely. All they have is a small board. When I was entering this place I was not sure what to expect. The entry was a little narrow and it was on the 2nd floor of a building. The entry though narrow was very clean and neat. One can take a lift to the place which was a blessing. The moment I entered I realised i was the only customer. This again made me think about my choice. I guess it was around 4 pm and not many people will be hungry. The welcome was warm and cordial. The menu was presented . The first thing I noticed was that the cost was a little on the higher side. As a foodie i knew it was a good sign but my doubts of how this place can break even rose. Nolambur is a good market but I was not sure if a 399/- rupee Burger has a market where International food chains down the same road sold Burgers at 150-180. Some Burgers sell at 499 but they do offer a 15 percent discount. I ordered the double Chicken Burger which set me back by 350 rupees. The Burger looked amazing. It was NOT the run-of-the-mill deep fried Pattis. I loved it from the first bite itself. The sauces, the fresh veggies did their part. When I finished my meal I found myself full. I fact I was so full that I had to skip dinner. On further investigation I realised that the Burger buns, the sauces, the fries and all are made in house. Th quality of the Burger buns was phenomenal. The Chicken patties was perfect and juicy. The sauces were good. These guys know a thing or two about making a great Burger. I felt sad that located on the 2nd floor will reduce visibility. 95 percent of the people who pass the place are most probably will not noticed this place. I REQUEST EVERYONE WHO LOVE THEIR BURGER TO GO AND TRY THIS PLACE. LET US SUPPORT PEOPLE WHO LOVE FOOD WITH SO MUCH PASSION. LET US SUPPORT the 1950s BURGER TOWN !!!! WELL DONE GUYS.
