It's called Mediterranean now and we tasted the best guacamole and some lovely wraps, all freshly made on the spot for us, nothing of that semi prepared stuff! All in a breezy chilled spot with relaxing countryside views and a chess table!

This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review of anything. But I have also never been treated so poorly by a business before. My fiancé and I attempted to go to Momo House Cafe this evening to try the momos. Instead of leaving an emotional response I will just write the experience exactly as it happened, including the discussion: We arrive at the cafe. I see two men in the kitchen and cheerfully say ‘hello!’ No response. So we sit down at a table and I go to collect both the drink and food menus at the entrance to the restaurant. Since nobody brought them out to us. Keep in mind there are only two other tables at the restaurant- both are couples. It’s very quiet. And it was 8:30 pm. We sit and wait for ten minutes. Still, Nobody has greeted us but that’s all good. The two men come out so my fiancé gets up to greet them and ask if we can place our order. This is what’s said: ‘Us: ‘Hey bro, can we please place an order?’ Staff: ‘Food takes time man. Just chill.’ Us: (thinking he is confused that we already ordered and are being impatient) ‘Oh, we haven’t ordered yet. But can we place an order?’ Staff: ‘food takes time man. Just wait and chill. I need to serve the tables before you.’ Us: ‘we are happy to chill. We just want to place an order’ Staff: Ignores us. Obviously there is no point in reasoning here, so we left. But not before saying this is not a way to treat people. Unfortunately, we can’t even leave a review for the food since we didn’t even have a chance to try it. But there is no reason anyone should be treated this way. Obviously the staff here have no customer service skills- not even basic decency or respect. The vibe from the staff was actually hostile. Maybe the chef makes amazing momos but then find someone who actually likes human beings to do the food orders and front of house position.
