The food was outstanding especially the veg thali and the noodles and not to forget the chicken dimsums/wontons/momos. And the aloo sandeko combo. The kheer was brilliant. The overall experience was amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Moksha Restaurant in Porvorim is a must-visit if you’re craving authentic Nepali and North East Indian cuisine. Tucked away in a peaceful corner, this place offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with Tibetan prayer flags, brick walls, and traditional decor that match the theme to build a good ambiance. We tried their Jhol Momos, a standout dish where perfectly steamed momos are served in a warm, spicy gravy. The broth is rich, aromatic, and packed with flavour, while the momos themselves were generously filled and delicately folded. The combination of textures and taste made it both hearty and comforting — an ideal pick, especially on a cooler evening. We also tried their Phaley, a Nepali stuffed bread that’s crisp on the outside and soft inside. Served fresh, it had the right balance of spices and paired beautifully with their chutneys. It’s a great alternative to the usual momo-dominated menus you find elsewhere. The ambiance at Moksha is relaxed and authentic, with soft lighting, prayer flags, and culturally themed wall art that sets the tone for a slow, soulful meal.
