I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hotel Mohan during my trip to Kolhapur, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. Located just a stone's throw away from the magnificent Mahalakshmi temple, this charming eatery won me over with its mouthwatering delicacies and impeccable service. One of the highlights of my visit was the delectable street food that Hotel Mohan has to offer. The vada pav, a popular Maharashtrian snack, was simply outstanding. The golden-brown, crispy vada, nestled between soft and fluffy pav bread, left me craving for more. Each bite was bursting with flavorful spices, and the accompanying chutney added an extra zing to the overall experience. Another dish that stole my heart was the traditional poha. Hotel Mohan served a piping hot plate of this iconic breakfast staple, which was impeccably seasoned with the perfect blend of spices. The light and fluffy texture of the flattened rice combined with the aromatic flavors created a symphony of taste that left a lasting impression. The Sabu khichadi at Hotel Mohan was a revelation. If you find yourself in Kolhapur and have a hankering for authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, this is the place to be. I highly recommend indulging in their vada pav, poha, and Sabu khichadi for a culinary experience that will leave your taste buds craving for more.
