Located on the Kotagiri to Mettupalayam Road, this shop is a bit of a challenge when it comes to parking. There are no dedicated parking spaces, and if you park in front of the shop, you risk getting fined by the police. Now, let's talk about the shop itself. It offers a variety of items, including cakes, walnut cake, tres leches cake, and hot chocolate. However, I found the hot chocolate to be overpriced at 120 per cup and not worth the money. It is overhyped and disappointing. On the other hand, their baked goods are excellent. They offer a range of chocolates and cookies that are worth trying. When you search for what to eat in Moddys Kotagiri, the first recommendation you often see is Moddy's. This place smells amazing and has numerous options, which can be a bit overwhelming. Here’s what we ordered: - **Hot Chocolate**: Not up to the hype. It was too thick and sweet for my taste. Rating: 3 - **Banana Cake**: This was the yummiest and softest cake, filled with banana and chocolate chunks. It’s a must-have. Rating: 5 - **Pizza Bun**: Soft and delicious. Rating: 4 - **Brownie**: It melts in your mouth and is a must-try. Rating: 4.5 Overall, while the hot chocolate was disappointing, the baked goods and other items more than made up for it. Moddy's is definitely worth a visit for its delightful range of cakes and pastries.
