Visited this diner for the 2nd time. Their aloo chop and veg chowmein are really good and the place is vibrant and offers an amazing playlist. Few things we felt kinda weird about - when we seeked help from the staff to understand the mizo dishes on the menu - we weren't reciprocated as per expectations. To confirm my suspicion - the staff member taking our order even striked off the term "veg" which I had mentioned on paper, just to be cautious, in front of a native dish. I think she got annoyed since it was a Saturday, the place was bustling with crowd and we dared ask a staff member to explain 1-2 natives dishes. Saw a lot of reels about the Mizo Diner and so decided to head out here. Its located in Humayunpur and serves mizo food. The space is quite vibrant inside and the staff is polite. We got the aloo chop and the rice beer first. The aloo chop was good and served with a very spicy chutney that went well with it. The rice beer too was good. Next we got the chicken rice bowl which was average. We also got the pork ribs which was cooked well but I wish it was served with some spicy chutney like the aloo chop. Overall its worth a visit. I went there not expecting a lot but boy I was glad and beaming when I was leaving the place! The pork fried rice and buff curry were top notch! The only things which could be improved are the buff fried rice and the amount of rice that is served usually. It was definitely not enough for me, and the dishes being so delicious did not help much either haha!
