Mitra Samaj is one of the best places in Udupi to experience authentic traditional Udupi cuisine. The food is simple, pure, and full of classic flavours that never disappoint. My personal favourites here are the Masala Dosa — perfectly crisp with a tasty, well-balanced filling, the Mango Juice — fresh, refreshing, and full of natural flavour , and the Mangalore Buns — soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious The ambience is simple, clean, and traditional, staying true to the heritage of Udupi-style dining. Service is quick and polite, even during rush hours. It’s a great place for family meals, elders, and anyone who enjoys authentic vegetarian food. Overall, Mitra Samaj is not just a restaurant, but a true Udupi food experience. Highly recommended ️

We came to Udupi for vaccination and happened to see this hotel on Instagram reels — and I’m so glad we did! Trust me, this is hands down the best place to have breakfast. The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming, and we enjoyed it so much that we went back three times during our stay. A special mention goes to their Pineapple Shira — it’s an absolute must-try! Perfectly balanced in flavor and truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Udupi and looking for a great breakfast spot.

Another legend of Udupi! They comply with no onion-garlic requirements without compromise in taste. They serve hot vadas and buns .Masala dosa is also very good. They are famous for Goli baje and those are great too
