I recently visited Mitra Samaj, one of the oldest and most popular hotels around. It was quite crowded when I went, which shows how well-known it is. I tried their golibaje, bans, biskut roti, and coffee — the food was okay, nothing exceptional, but decent enough for a quick bite. The place still carries that old-school charm, which adds to its appeal.

Another legend of Udupi! They comply with no onion-garlic requirements without compromise in taste. They serve hot vadas and buns .Masala dosa is also very good. They are famous for Goli baje and those are great too
