This cafe guarantees you nicely cooked thai chicken, chicken cutlets and fried chicken. It's time to relax and order good pudding. Delicious dark coffee or great tea are among the most popular drinks at Cafe Midori.

The energetic staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. People mention that the service is nice here. You will appreciate the terrific decor and cozy atmosphere of this place. 4.7 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

We went for Dine-in on 12th January around 7 o'clock, but unfortunately, the menu was very limited. The staff seemed unwilling to serve us since we requested thai basil fish and burnt garlic egg fried rice for six people (2 portions of each). All these items were listed on the board for today's menu, yet the staff said they would have to make rice and could only serve one portion of the thai basil fish gravy. We were willing to wait, yet they did not give us an alternate option for dishes for dinner. They seem to only offer chicken dishes, which we didn't want to eat. They infact suggested we go to a nearby indian restaurant to eat. It was very disappointing to visit Cafe midori and realize that the reviews did not match the reality. Response to the cafe' reply : I feel your response is completely biased, and the account of events shared by your team on this is completely untrue. Firstofall, if I have visited your cafe and received bad service and saw misleading information presented on your public profile on Google.. I feel it's my responsibility to tell other customers about my experience. There's no revenge in it. I will urge you to investigate and understand how your staff communicates with customers in your absence. I agree that some of my family members who were older women speaking to your staff in hindi could be a point of misunderstanding. But I clearly spoke softly in bengali to your staff and asked for all the options that were not chicken in the menu. But they were very reluctant. I agree that it must be 6 pm (hence I was very surprised why there's no food). I have worked in a cafe and have utmost respect for ppl working there. So I completely disagree that me and my family members were rude. In fact, we felt completely unwelcome with the behavior of your staff just like you are behaving in this feedback and turning a blind eye on your shortcomings. In the menu online, you don't mention explicitly that your cafe serves snack in the evening. We asked for burnt garlic fried rice and not noodles (displayed in your cafe - posted the pic here). And when you display a menu sample upfront it means that's what is readily available. We were also asked for alternative and were completely flexible (our only ask was no chicken). And we were not even a big group, 3 women( incl me and 2 elderly women) and 3 men (incl 1 teenager and two men in 20s.). The entire cafe was empty. We agreed to wait as well, and we were not in any hurry at all. I hope next time you should also hear the conversation in your cctv. After the staff was completely unresponsive and reluctant, I asked if they could call the owner or manager, but they said there's no one. They never informed us that evenings are only for snacks. After your cafe we went to Amoli and had very good interaction with staff, the owner and enjoyed great food. Thanks to your insensitiveness, we will never visit your cafe again. Hope you learn some customer service and accept feedback with a chin up. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I feel compelled to respond to this review as it appears to be entirely unethical, false, and motivated by a desire for revenge. It's astonishing that you would leave a one-star review for our food and service when you didn't even order anything from us! To set the record straight, your group arrived at our cafe at 5:40 pm,(we have cctv footage) not 7 pm as you claimed, and you were in a tremendous hurry. You asked for rice and side dishes, but we only serve snack items in the evening, and our dinner items require a minimum amount of time to prepare. Despite this, you asked for noodles, which is not even on our menu. I'd like to clarify that we don't have a "today's menu" as you mentioned, and the menu written on the blackboard is just a small sampling of our offerings. And yes, As a small, homely cafe, our menu is limited and we don't prepare large portions because we never serve leftover food to our guests. Our team is friendly and always strives to cook and serve with the best intentions. When you asked for directions to a nearby restaurant that serves rice, noodles etc, our team was happy to help, but they never suggested that you leave our cafe. I'm particularly disturbed by your behavior towards the innocent village girls who work at our cafe. They were frightened by your rudeness, and it's unacceptable that you would treat them with such disrespect. Before leaving a review, I implore you to be honest and ethical with yourself. Our cafe is not a "pice hotel" that can cater to guests who are in a rush and expect to be served immediately. We value our guests and strive to provide a warm and welcoming experience, but we will not tolerate abusive behavior towards our staff

During my visit to Shantiniketan, I had the pleasure of experiencing Cafe Midori, and it left a lasting impression. While their food is truly exceptional, what captivated me the most was the enchanting ambience. Whether you're looking to spend a relaxed evening with friends, family, or that special someone, this cafe offers the perfect setting. I highly recommend visiting Cafe Midori to savor their authentic recipes and create unforgettable memories.
