Tucked away in Virar, Midnight Express is a true gem for Chinese food lovers. We were especially impressed with the fiery Szechuan chicken and perfectly seasoned noodles, both of which delivered a fantastic punch of flavor. The portions are notably generous, ensuring you get excellent value for your money. However, the experience is best suited for those with time on their hands. The dine-in service operates at a very relaxed speed. It took a while to get our order taken and even longer for the food to arrive. While the wait can be frustrating if you're in a hurry, the staff were friendly and apologetic for the delays, which helped to temper our frustration. It's clear they are doing their best, and the slow pace seems to be a part of the overall flow rather than a sign of inattentiveness. Ultimately, dining at Midnight Express is a trade-off: you sacrifice speed for truly exceptional food. If you’re planning a leisurely dinner and are happy to wait for a great meal, you'll be more than satisfied. If you're on a tight schedule, their delivery service might be a better option.
