Mia Cucina is located at Powai. “Mia Cucina” which means my kitchen in the Italian language, is a quaint Italian restaurant which envelopes you with the aroma from Italy, a slight concoction of herbs, wooden interiors, a warm inviting ambiance, and adorable curios and photo-frames hanging on the walls. They have an island bar in the middle of the restaurant and cozy booth-like tables. Sanjay Kotian who is the creative chef here and also is the owner who comes with 25 years of experience in USA and India. If you want to enjoy an open ambiance then they have a small but lovely outdoor section with a few tables and chairs. This place is comparatively more crowded on Thursday because it’s karaoke night and even more crowded on Friday because it’s the bar night. Their menu covers a range of Italian dishes from the typical pizzas and pasta to even paninis served with French fries. House specials include their Pizza Verdura which is vegetarian and their char-grilled chicken with balsamic sauce, polenta and greens. Overall this place is highly recommended for those living around and wants to have a perfect dinner and drinks outings.
