Great for western tastes. Had a wonderful lamb burger and the fries were just like home. Even had Budweiser on tap, though I did have an Indian beer. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Marketing itself as European style restaurant with good wine menu we went for dinner during an overnight stay in Delhi Aerocity. Staff were friendly and kind, but unfortunately this is sort of the extent of positive things to say. Re drinks. Tried to order a glass of white wine of which there were 5 to choose from. I was told each time I picked one that it wasn’t available, eventually told I could have a rose version of a white which I didn’t want. Having gone through the whole white wine menu I eventually just asked what white wine they had and told I could have another random wine which not on the menu, the price of which seemed to be randomly made up in front of me. I’m pretty sure this was was off and tasted unusual when drinking, and then made me quite unwell late on that evening. Re food: If you are expected Italian style pasta you will be disappointed. If you’re. Brit who travels in Europe this will not be anything special for you. Gnocchi dish was ok, spinach and ricotta ravioli dish was horrible and had been made very spicy with addition of chilli flakes - not a traditional taste at all. Portions were small-average. Prices advertised are without taxes aswell so expect prices which are already very high to go up further. Wouldn’t return sorry. After a liquory New Year’s celebration, we decided to treat ourselves to delicious Italian and continental cuisine, relying on positive reviews to guide our choice. After searching through various options, we came across MESA Kitchen & Bar, which had strong ratings and booked a table via EazyDiner which was instantly confirmed. Our family of 7 was seated upstairs in AeroCity, which has a beautiful decor that gives off a London-like vibe. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the glowing reviews. Here’s what we ordered and my ratings: Penne Pesto Chicken: 2/5 (Even small cafes offer much better pasta) Spinach Ricotta: 2/5 Softened Brie Tor: 3.5/5 Smashed Tenderloin: 3/5 Classic Fried Fish & Chips: 3/5 (Average fries like McDonalds) Goan Chorizo Pizza: 3/5 Quattro Formaggi: 3/5 Mexican Fusilli: 1/5 Dessert Kunafeh: 1/5 To top it off, they didnt have Tiramisu & the staff refused app payment despite our EazyDiner booking, with no explanation. No wonder they had many tables unused on a busy New Year’s evening when other places had waiting lines. This disappointing experience ensures MESA will be my first and last visit. Even small cafes offer better food.
