Mezzo is a popular bar and restaurant located at the Avenue Regent Hotel in Kochi. The bar has a great ambience with tastefully done interiors and a separate outdoor area with seating for smokers. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the cocktails and other liquor are of high quality. The food is also delicious, with the Korean BBQ wings, Chicken 66, Konjee Beef and Kung Pao Chicken being particularly noteworthy. The tables are small and close to each other, so there is little privacy. The service is generally good, though it can get slow during peak hours. Parking can also be difficult. Mezzo is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink or two with friends, and their selection of beer is decent. It's worth noting that the food is slightly pricey, but it's worth it for the quality.
Extremely Disappointing Experience at Mezzo, Kochi – Harassment by Parking Staff , how they handle our cars in valet parking .(Rough / Careless beware .Please do not trust and hand over the key’s to them. Even management will just ignore when we report the incident. I am writing this review to formally express my strong dissatisfaction with the experience we had at Mezzo, Kochi, which was unfortunately tainted by harassing behaviour from the car parking staff and a shockingly apathetic response from the management. From the moment we arrived, the parking staff exhibited an aggressive and discourteous attitude, bordering on harassment. Their behaviour was not only disrespectful but also entirely uncalled for, especially towards guests who expect basic courtesy and professionalism from such an establishment. What made the situation worse was the reaction from Mezzo’s management when we reported the incident. Rather than acknowledging the seriousness of the issue or attempting to resolve it, they chose to dismiss our concerns without taking any responsibility or offering a solution. Their indifferent response made it clear that there was no point escalating the issue internally, as they lacked both accountability and basic hospitality standards. Due to this unacceptable experience, we had no choice but to leave the premises immediately, and were forced to inform our guests at the last minute about a change in venue—an inconvenience that could have been entirely avoided had Mezzo upheld even the most minimal standards of guest treatment. Thankfully, we were able to relocate to Millennials Restobar, where the staff were welcoming, respectful, and highly professional. The stark contrast in service and hospitality only reinforced our decision to never return to Mezzo. I sincerely hope the management at Mezzo takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary corrective measures. No guest should be subjected to such treatment, either by staff or through mismanagement, especially at a place that markets itself as a premium dining destination.
