The rating reflects this outlet and not the Merwans brand. Merwans has excellent cakes and snacks, and they are pocket friendly as well. Even though merwans has such great brand presence in Mumbai, this particular outlet was disappointing. I had called and ordered for a particular flavour of cake to be kept, which I was assured, was available. An hour after the payment was made, they told me that the flavour was not available and asked to choose another one. As our family is particular about the cake flavour from merwans, I asked them to refund the amount. Next day, the outlet was still unable to process the refund. Mistakes happen, so I thought let's give this place another chance and asked for the same cake to kept aside next day, which I was answered with "200% mil jayega". Evening I reach the outlet and again dejavu, the cake is not available. So, yes it's a great place to buy cakes which are available on the fly... But to order stuff, and expect to actually get it is pretty difficult. This outlet also refuses to refund any money if payment is made by mistake. Will I go here again? Sure... Bcz merwans has really good food, and this outlet is near to my office. But will I go out of my way here instead of the Andheri West branches? Well, the owners here don't really care losing one such customer considering the scale of their operation. Keeping this up though might hurt the brand as a whole though....
