Very worst place to dine in. They literally don’t know how to take order. Kept us waiting for one hour and came back to take our order again. We even called him many times to ask about the order we have already placed as it was taking too much time. They said it’s being prepared and later the same bearer came again after sometime asking us to repeat our order after which they started preparing the food. When the issue was taken to supervisor, even he didn’t care and did nothing. They don’t care about the customer. Most irresponsible dining place. I visited this place after my cousin mentioned it to me. He used to stay nearby and would often come here, so I brought him along to relive those nostalgic moments. We struggled quite a bit to get a seat as the place was extremely crowded and highly hyped. Honestly, I would say it is overhyped, especially after trying the biryani. We ordered the Double Masala Special Mutton Handi Biryani, but it tasted just like any ordinary roadside biryani. So personally, I would not recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Hyderabadi biryani. Meridian Restaurant, located near Punjagutta Metro Station and Punjagutta Circle, is not an authentic Hyderabadi biryani spot.
