This is an independent review of Meraan Restaurant. I have NOT been paid by a 3rd party to write this review. _____________________________________ _____________________________________ QUICK OVERVIEW: 14/20. Hygiene: 3/5. Atmosphere: 4/5. Location: 3/5. _____________________________________ _____________________________________ The location of Meraan is rather hidden, which could explain why many people don't come here to dine in but order online instead. This is a shame, as the atmosphere of this restaurant is actually quite good. 3.8/5 for atmosphere; location is hidden. Hygiene was as you would expect. There were no gloves used by the cooks, so points were deducted. Nonetheless, the waiter was helpful. ===============================. FOOD:. The food was rather pricey for the quantity typically around 500 INR for 400-700ml of gravy + 6 pieces of chicken. But the taste justifies the price. Unfortunately, the gravy I tried (the Changezi) was rather spicy. However, it was not too much that it spoiled the flavor. The biryani was pretty good. However, the bones hindered the dining experience. I suggest the restaurant increase the size of the non-veg platter. 829 INR for 10 pieces is high, around 500 INR for 8-10 pieces would make more sense. =============================== Will I come here again?
