Located on the Kurakkanni-Odayam Road, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the main North Cliff, meaning you get the peace of Odayam without missing out on the action. The Highlights: Privacy & Comfort: The dormitory beds (₹1,100+) are well-designed with individual privacy curtains, reading lights, and dual power sockets. Great for getting some work done or just zoning out. Community Vibe: The on-site bistro is the heart of the place. Don’t skip the desserts! It’s a very social atmosphere where it’s easy to meet other solo female travelers. Safety: As a women-only hostel, the security feels top-notch. The staff (special shoutout to Sajna) are incredibly helpful and reachable via WhatsApp for any quick needs. Extra Perks: High-speed Wi-Fi (mostly reliable), luggage storage, and they can help organize local activities like cycling or yoga. Things to Note: Lighting: The room lighting is quite dim. If you need to pack or do detail-oriented tasks, the bedside lamp is your best friend. Bathroom Maintenance: During peak weekend rushes, the shared bathrooms can struggle to keep up. As a female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable staying at this hostel. The dorms were cozy, and what impressed me the most was how clean and fresh everything was. The bedsheets and pillows smelled wonderful, which was exactly what I needed after a long day of traveling. A special thank you to the lovely owner for the warm welcome and hospitality. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I also loved the washrooms, which had a beautiful natural touch. As someone who is used to city life, being surrounded by nature made me feel relaxed and refreshed. Thank you so much for hosting us. If you're looking for a cozy, clean, and peaceful place to stay, I highly recommend this hostel. We truly enjoyed our stay and created wonderful memories here. Mellow Hostel & Bistro exceeded all my expectations. Navaneeth, the manager, was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Sreejith, the cafe manager, really knows his coffee! The food and drinks were amazing, and I felt so comfortable staying here
