Of the many gourmet Chinese dining restaurants in Pune , Mekong folks turned out for me as one of the most over rated places. Our family visited this place a few days back. The issues are multiple. 1. Dark environment. Gloomy 2. Over priced certainly 3. Inadequate or small portion size 4. Charges 10% service charge without consulting customer 5. One by two division of soup dish not offered. When asked if we can get additional bowl, only then it was given. The waiter should have been proactive in suggesting this atleast. 6. Any food item you order is sweet in taste. No khimchi placed on table or offered which was surprising7. Quality and taste is at best, average 3.5/5Even for a long weekend and esp. when every quality restaurant has a waiting time during peak hours, MF was more than half empty ! Definitely not my go to restaurant for 2nd time.
