Mehrus, a truly historic shop nestled in the bustling Lower Bazar of Shimla, certainly holds its charm, especially being renowned for its delicious chats. However, my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. While there was a considerable queue for jalebi, it unfortunately looked quite overcooked and didn't seem worthy of the wait.
