I recently visited Mehfil Restaurant after a friend recommended it, especially mentioning the prawns biryani. Based on the suggestion, I was expecting something special, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The prawns biryani was very average in taste—nothing special or unique. The portion size was normal, with only about 4 to 5 pieces of prawns, which felt too less for the price. The flavor was quite regular, and overall it didn’t meet my expectations either in quality or quantity. We were seated on the first floor, and the ambience was okay. The gravy served with the food was decent, but the raita ruined the entire meal. It had a very unpleasant smell and taste, which made it difficult to enjoy the food. In fact, due to the raita, most of the food was wasted. Washrooms and handwash facilities were available, which is a plus, and the parking area was sufficient. However, one thing that really put me off was the staff’s behavior. While I was making the payment, the waiter insisted on a tip. When I refused—because of the unsatisfactory food—he told me bluntly that next time I should only pay by cash or card if I’m going to tip. This approach felt rude and unprofessional. I have ordered chicken fry piece biryani through Zomato at mehfil Dilsukhnagar but i received romali rotis when I have asked delivery partner he was too rude and gave me that it is urs parcel if u don't want please throw.The address was mentioned wrong too but i have already paid to it..Ihave raised complaint through Zomato support however they mentioned wil be next time , so neither my food is returned or exchanged. Truly waste of money and service. There are not taking online payment orders worst management iam hungry 'iam very disappointed about this behavior of this branch dilsuknager they should accept cash payments too
