I chose the [Mutton/Chicken] Biryani, and I can confirm that the dish lives up to the hype in terms of flavor and quality. The preparation is fantastic: the meat is wonderfully tender and seasoned, and the long-grain basmati rice is perfectly cooked and infused with a rich, complex mix of aromatic spices and saffron. The portion is generous, and the overall aroma is absolutely intoxicating. For anyone new to Hyderabadi cuisine, or those who appreciate a deeply savory, spice-forward, and hearty meal, this biryani is an absolute winner. However, based on my preference and familiarity with South Indian cuisine, I noted one key difference: Mehfil’s biryani is exceptionally rich and heavy.
