Disappointing Experience at Meghdut (Ujjain) I’ve always been a fan of Meghdut, but my recent visit to this particular branch left much to be desired. The food was below average, starting with the masala papad. It arrived with just onion and tomato pieces, but no sev, which is typically an essential part of this dish. Next, the crispy veg was a letdown – they served bhajis made from bell peppers, cauliflower, and onions, which is not what I was expecting. It was overly salty due to an excessive amount of chaat masala. To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow. We had to wait almost 45 minutes for our food, even though we arrived at 7 PM. This kind of delay is unacceptable, especially when dining out during peak hours. I’m disappointed with this experience and will be more cautious before visiting any Meghdut location in the future.
