I recently went to Meera’s Bistro Amoroso Café in Meerut, with my family, for a short stop while coming back to Delhi. While I’ve been here before (a couple of years ago), this time around the space was a bit different; in a good way! Most of the seating is outdoors, with greenery all around, which gives it a garden-like charm. They do have an indoor section too but the open seating was definitely the highlight, which we opted for. Very calm, very relaxed. For the drinks, we started with a Hot Cappuccino. The taste was good, but it felt a bit too light for me in terms of caffeine strength. I usually like my cappuccinos a little stronger, so while this wasn’t bad, it didn’t hit the spot completely. We ordered Garlic Bread, which on the menu was listed as “Garlic Bread with Cheese”. The portion size was nice, but it came without any cheese. When I asked the server about it, they casually said the cheese wasn’t available and didn’t bother informing us earlier. That was a bit disappointing. Taste-wise, it just felt like toasted bread with sharp, raw garlic on top, which was a bit too overpowering. The Farmhouse Pizza was a mixed experience. I didn’t enjoy the base; as it was way too thin and crispy, almost like a cracker. But the toppings made up for it; the veggies were fresh, and I liked that the pizza wasn’t overloaded with cheese or sauce. The French Fries were pretty standard, crispy and enjoyable, so no complaints there. The service here was actually good. Everything came out quickly and the staff moved fast, even if they weren’t the best at communicating (still thinking about that garlic bread incident) Overall, the ambience was the real winner here, with its calm, green, outdoor setup. The food had some hits and misses, but it wasn’t a bad experience overall. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Meera’s has always been a charming pit stop on the Meerut Expressway, and after the mishap, it has returned with a fresh vibe but still keeps that cozy, artsy soul intact. The décor is a perfect mix of rustic and vibrant leafy corners, hand-painted walls, colorful swings, floral cushions, and plenty of open-air seating that makes you want to linger over coffee. There’s a lot of attention to detail in every corner from the playful signs to the mix of modern and cottage-style furniture. The indoor seating feels warm and intimate with balloons, hanging plants, and pretty lighting, while the outdoor space is bright and breezy under lush greenery. It’s Instagram-perfect at every turn whether you’re lounging on the hot-pink couch, swinging by the mural, or sipping tea under the canopy. The service is friendly and unhurried, making it ideal for a relaxed catch-up or a peaceful solo break. While the menu is still evolving after the revamp, the vibe alone makes it worth the stop. In short: A colorful, cozy, and photo-worthy café that has beautifully bounced back after its mishap. Perfect for tea lovers, café hoppers, and anyone who enjoys a side of charm with their meal.
